Andrew Reichert, President and CEO of Birgo, and Principal of Birgo Capital, was recently honored with the CBA Outstanding Alumni Award. The University of Pittsburgh defines the award as recognizing a College of Business Administration graduate who has made “exceptional contributions to his profession, discipline, or community since graduation.”
There are over 30,000 living members of the alumni network of the Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business and undergraduate College of Business Administration. Each year, only one alum is selected to receive the award.
Andrew is an alumnus of the first class of the Certificate Program in Leadership and Ethics at the College of Business Administration, and prior to founding Birgo Realty and forming Birgo Capital, he founded 3 other companies and has been involved in several other startups. Additionally, he founded Mission Commission, Birgo’s non-profit focused on financial literacy, and the Makes Cents Event’s fiscal partner. He is actively involved in local non-profits and serves as an elder at his church.
