Birgo Realty operates fully within an approximately 15-mile radius of downtown Pittsburgh. Our office is housed in the Allegheny West neighborhood of the North Side, just a half mile from PNC Park. We live and work in the same neighborhoods where we lease, manage, and develop properties. Therefore, we get to experience a heightened intimacy with our projects. The close proximity fosters an engaged relationship. It’s easy to visit Commonplace Coffee to enjoy the coffee and check in on the property that we manage. Similarly, we can check in on the renovations in one of our Troy Hill properties, or stop by our short- and long-term rentals located between Troy Hill and Allegheny West.
We’re not just investing in and renting out buildings, we’re buying into and becoming a part of the neighborhoods.
Now we may be biased, but there’s something special about the North Side, isn’t there? With walkable neighborhoods bordering green space, several museums, commercial storefronts and restaurants, breweries and coffee shops. Pittsburgh is renowned for being a city of neighborhoods, where one street looks nothing like the one before. The North Side reflects this. We benefit from the rich blend of architectural styles of the Mexican War Streets, Millionaire’s Row, Deutschtown, and more. This area is steeped in history, and full of opportunity for the future.
