Pumpkin Painting Class at Painting with a Twist
Hours: 7 PM - 9 PM
Join Painting with a Twist in Southside as they teach you how to paint a beautiful autumnal scene with pumpkins. The event is BYOB (bring your own boo-ze 👻).

Pompeii: The Exhibition at Carnegie Science Center
Hours: 10 AM - 5 PM
Discover Pompeii, the city frozen in time, and experience the eruption of Mt. Vesuvius in an immersive 4D theater. Hundreds of artifacts from the Naples National Archeological Museum in Italy will be on display including Gladiator helmets, pots and pans, and body castes.

Asian Lantern Festival at the Pittsburgh Zoo & PPG Aquarium
Hours: 6:30 PM - 9:00 PM
Now-Oct. 30
Experience an evening of adventure as you stroll through the zoo and admire wildlife-themed handcrafted lanterns. Steel and silk sculptures take center stage along with performers and Asian cuisine and crafts.

Friday, Oct. 15
Pop-Up Drive-In Theater with Row House Cinema
Doors open at 6:30 PM
This Friday, October 15, catch Beetlejuice playing at Row House Cinema’s drive-in movie event at 21st and Smallman Street in the Strip District. Doors open at 6:30 PM (arrive early for a good spot), concessions open at 7 and the movie will start around 8. They’ll also have a nice selection of beer for sale on site from Four Seasons Brewing Co.

Phantom Fall Fest at Kennywood
There’s something for all ages to enjoy at Kennywood’s Phantom Fall Fest. Come early for family-friendly fun and a unique autumn atmosphere or come when the sun has set when the park transforms into a scare-filled horror event. During your visit, enjoy your favorite Pittsburgh rides and roller coasters and snack on the new pumpkin funnel cake!

Sunday, Oct. 17
Fall Festival at Soergel’s Orchards
Hours: 10 AM - 5 PM
End your weekend on a sweet note by attending Soergel’s Orchards Fall Festival. Pick the best pumpkin in the patch and hand pick your own apples off the tree at peak fall foliage. Enjoy other activities including the cornstalk maze, straw tunnel and pop-ups from Aurochs Brewing Company and Boyd & Blair.
