Change can be hard, and unexpected change can be especially frustrating. We get it. That’s why we want to let you know a little more about the changes happening here at Birgo.
Go Realty recently changed our name to Birgo Realty, but that’s all that has changed. We’re still the same company and the same people here to serve you, our tenants and investors. To coincide with our new name and website makeover, we decided to put to paper the values that made Go Realty the exceptional property management company that Birgo will continue to be.
Teamwork
This value motivates the Birgo team to value one another’s input and to truly care about the rest of the team’s welfare and development. As a result, we strive to be reliable, present, approachable, and engaged both internally and externally.
Humility
Humility is an unconventional value in the real estate world, yet it is central to how Birgo does business. In every interaction with a tenant or investor, we listen to understand and put the other person first. For Birgo, humility also involves a willingness to admit faults, seek feedback, and exhibit gratitude.
Rhinocerality
A fabricated word, this value is drawn from the book, Rhinoceros Success: The Secret to Charging Full Speed Toward Every Opportunity, by Scott Alexander. As a team, we seek to emulate the ambition and toughness of the rhino. This involves taking initiative to seek out issues to resolve, and then charging head-on at the highest priority as we work hard for the greater good.
Integrity
Complementary to humility, our integrity is a driving force behind how we interact with one another. Birgo team members seek to be trustworthy and to do the right thing, even when it’s not the easy thing. This all stems from our desire to treat others as we would want to be treated.
Vision
At Birgo, the vision is not reserved for upper management. The entire team takes on the vision of the company: to improve lives through real estate. To work together toward this vision, we make suggestions for improvement and keep the big picture in mind as we steward our resources well.
Excellence
Excellence is the simplest of all six values; when we do anything, we want to do it well. We hold ourselves and one another accountable for achieving goals and living out the first five values.
Teamwork, Humility, Rhinocerality, Integrity, Vision, and Excellence form the foundation on which Birgo is built. Go Realty has always lived by these values; now, as Birgo, we THRIVE.
